Having helped woodworking students of mine build a vacuum pump set up from a kit, I decided it was time to invest in one myself. I chose a kit with a 3.15 cfm pump, which will handle 4′ x 8′ veneer bags for flat work and 4′ x 4′ bags for moderately curved work.
